Can I use a mouse with the iPad Pro

Can I use a mouse that has a cord with the iPad Air or will I have to buy a Bluetooth mouse?

They did not mention anything about the bluetooth stack on the iPad Pro allowing a traditional mouse. Just the  Pencil.

A good question and answer also, A wild guess would be yes using bluetooth especially if it were the Apple mouse. Why not call Apple and ask them?

Re: Can I use a mouse with the iPad Pro

I doubt there will be bluetooth mouse support on this device...especially with the Apple Pencil being a new accessory that they are putting a lot of energy and effort behind. Honestly, with a tablet like this or the surface pro, there's really no need for a mouse.

A track pad on the smart case, however, feels like it should be a necessity...but the pictures so far have shown a glaringly obvious lack of one, which will be odd when using it with that keyboard accessory.

I doubt it.
Wouldn't they need to add a mouse pointer? How would that even work in iOS?

Same way it works in Android. Just like a standard computer. It's possible, but Apple never added it.
