First of all apologies for a newbe question but that is what i am.

Hello all hope you are well.

I have recently acquired an iphone 4 locked to O2. I have jailbroken it and have cydia and did this in the hopes i could use my vodafone simcard in it. However after all my searching i can only find websites which seem less than reputable to do this.

Is it actually possible? I can't do the official unlock as the phone was a gift from my parents who have upgraded to a 5 and have gone on a 3 month cruise!
