I've never owned more than 1 iOS device at a time, so what i want to know is can I have an iPhone and iPad synced to the same computer? I'm getting an iPad later this week.

Hello all,

Sorry. First posting/question.

So, I am getting my iPad this week. Yea!!

I have an iPhone 16GB, the iPad2 will be the 64GB.

So, I just have a question on how to sync both devices. Do I just connect the iPad to my MacBook Pro and will sync what is currently on my iTunes. I think I understand that point. But since the iPad will have greater storage, how do I load MORE music and apps for the iPad and NOT for the iPhone.
Does that make sense?

Thanks for this great forum, especially as a "novice".

iTunes will ask you to name each device. It will recognize individual sync settings for each device. I sync my wife's 3GS 8gb and my i4 16 gb with the same computer on the same iTunes account all the time. The only "hurdle" is separating music. In which case I've created "mandys Playlist" for her phone, while mine syncs the entire library. Hope this helps.

Yep. Do it with my iPod 30gb and iPhone4. When I plug the iPod in it knows to sync my Mobile Nations podcasts and not with the iPhone. Love it.
