Can I retrieve a text I was writing when my iphone went dead?

Can I retrieve a text I was writing when my I phone went dead. I refreshed my battery and tried to go back to the text I was writing but I couldn't bring up the text. Is there any way it can be retrieved?

Was the text you were writing in regard to an SMS/iMessage or email. If the former, I doubt you can retrieve the text. If the latter, it may have been saved as a draft, but I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you.
