Can I put the book that I purchased via my iPad on my iPod?

If I bought a book through iTunes and it is downloaded to my ipad, can it somehow get it to my iPod?

Should be able to. Download iBooks on the ipod and then you should be able to download from there

Yes, just go to the purchased section of the iBooks apps to download it.
