Can I leave cord plugged in all the time?

Does it hurt to leave charging cord plugged in all the time?

In theory I don't think it hurts... I don't know which divide you are talking about, if you are talking about an iPhone, then I don't see the point of having it as a mobile phone if it's alway plugged in... But for an iPad yes I think it wouldn't hurt. But speaking for experience I notice that if I plug a device too often the battery starts to discharge faster... So I don't know how the effects would be long term.
