Can I get some help with some problems I am having with a crossword app on my Android tablet?

Having problems with crossword app on my Android tablet

When I tap a square or enter a letter, a box comes up asking for my user name and password. When I tap it it disappears until I enter another letter. It never used to do this.

HELP!!
