Help on no sound on iphone5
On my iphone 5 there is no sound from internal speaker, though the sound is fine via headphone. This happened after the iphone was dropped.
I used your guide to open and remove the internal speaker, then I tried playing music on internal speaker by connecting it to my laptop via stripped headphone cable and i see that the speaker is fine, i.e., it plays the sound perfectly fine from my laptop.
When i connected the speaker back in iphone.. again there was no sound
As i'd ordered a new dock connector assembly I replaced a new dock assembly, but even then i don't hear and sound in speaker whereas the headphone still works fine.
I have no idea what else to look at, please help me out.
What else can i check here.
one more thing, the speaker has a strip on top of it, which helps fix it to iphone body, where it gets screwed to dock connector on one side and iphone body on other side.
This strip is damaged for me ( i.e., one side screw connection was torn during disassembly) I just checked that the connectivity still exists via a multimeter.
