Can I free up space from my iCloud by putting data onto my iPad?

My iCloud is full I have space on my ipod

My iCloud is full but I have 19 gb free space on my iPad how can I release space from my iCloud which has 5 gb and put it back on to my iPad to free up my iCloud

You would have to back up less- the cloud backs up stuff from your iPad iPhone etc. I am certainly not telling you how to spend your money but it costs $1 a month to get 15 more GB of storage-
