Can I download an iPhone Simulator?

I have been asked to create a "How To" video using Google Maps, for my company. Am I able to download an iPhone Simulator where I can simulate using Google Maps and record my screen, rather then physically record myself using G.M on my own device?

If your jail broken there is an app called display recorder. It's supposed to record your screen then you can export it to avi.

Well I installed but once I finish the recording...Where does it save the video?

Update - I can use the app but I do not have an icon on my homescreen.
