can i book an appointment with someone elses apple id for my phone?

a work colleague is having issues with his apple phone but doesnt have an apple id so can I use mine to book the appointment for him to take his phone in to be looked at as it's only 6 months old?

Technically I don't think there would be a problem as long as your colleague gives the Apple Store your name at check in. More importantly, why would he have an iPhone without an Apple ID? I mean, he can't even download an app without having one. It's like buying a high end stereo system to listen to AM news broadcasts.
