can apple tell me when and where i bought my ipad from the serial number

my wife can not use her ipad.because she lost her apple id.and can not buy things on itunes store.we were told that she would need her receipt which we do not have.can you help us please my wife is 82 years old and her ipad is her only enjoyement?

Without the receipt, Apple or anyone else will be unable to tell you where you purchased your iPad. They should be able to tell you when it was originally activated. Anyway, try us by the retrieval tool. You can use the following link.
