It’s with heavy heart I have to post this, my my twin brother Don passed away today at the Gainesville VA from cardiac arrest. He was my rock that I leaned on and I still can’t believe he is gone.

He was 65 years old and loved golf and riding motorcycles. We put over 350,000 miles on our BMW motorcycles and covered all 48 of the lower, 9 Canadian provinces and most of the National Parks along the way.

I promised him I wouldn’t greave and would move on in life, but being a twin is unique and part of my souls has been torn out. But unfortunately, life moves on and so will I in time. I still can’t believe he is gone.

Thanks to everyone out there, my twin brother was my best friend and part of me and went beyond being a brother and only those who are an identical twin will only understand.

Part of my soul is gone and yes I will move on in life, but I will privately greave for the rest of my days until we meet again on the other side.

It’s been a couple of months since my identical twin brother Don suddenly passed away. It’s been a difficult adjustment not having him around after living together for 38+ years.

But he talks to me in my dreams and let’s me know everything will be OK. I know it sounds weird, but unless your a twin, you don’t understand.

I was going to quit riding motorcycles all together after he passed, but he told me to keep riding and I traded in both our two wheel machines and bought a Harley trike and now I ride in his memory.

These are a couple of pics of us on some of our many trips out west. These where taken at Rocky Mountain, Death Valley and Golden Spike National parks and the last one is my new trike.

My new Harley Trike, my sister told how much I look like my twin brother Don in this picture. I cried when she said that, but I am learning to adapt, just takes time.
