So I'm not sure why this wasn't as noticeable to me since I purchased the phone September 19th !!.....but.....I've noticed something that just really disappointed me. My iPhone 5 (not even 5c!) is able to take FIVE photos in the same time that my new iPhone 6plus can take one! Same standard settings, same focus, same object. Something has to be wrong here. Such a delay after snapping one shot with my 6+

Your Plus sounds broken. Immediately throw it off the top of the highest roof you can find.

Sounds like you may have a defective device. Are you using the stock camera app?

Actually, it's an iOS 8 issue it seems. My iPhone 5 running iOS 7 is ready to snap the next photo and repeated shots about 5 times quicker than my iPhone 6 plus iPhone 5s, both running iOS 8

I'm running iOS 8 (obviously) on my 6 Plus and I'm not having the same issue...this is an issue with your device, not with iOS 8. When I snap a picture, my iPhone is ready to snap another one immediately...I can snap photos without using burst mode in around a second per photo individually pressing the shutter button.
