Camera not opening

On my 11 pro I went to take a photo and my screen was just black with the icons for taking photos. I had to force close and reopen the camera app to take the picture. I thought Apple had fixed this problem. Is anyone else still experiencing it?

No problem like that on my iPad pro 12.9.

Still experiencing??, I've never experienced this and didn't know it was a common issue. If a "hard reboot ( logo)" doesn't fix this issue, I would definitely try a wipe and restore as new, because the camera is a built in Apple app and should work.
