Caller ID Pic Iphone 4

Im having problems with my caller id photos. I have read a bunch of threads and everyone says that if u import the photo from you address book on the computer, it will be small and on the top right, if you take a picture from your phone and add it that way.. it will be full screen.

Im trying to have the pics be full screen but only 2 of my contacts will do this for some reason. All of them are pics taking with the phone. One contact i was just messing around with was full screen, that a call came in and it was small, i deleted the picture from the contact and re-added it, then i called them and it was full screen..hung up and called them again and it was back to the small icon. This has happens for multiple contacts..any advice? All photos are taken with iphone 4 rear camera.

I don't have a good answer for this, but I will say the pics I used for fullscreen pics were existing pics in the camera roll. I never took a new one and then used it.

ive tried using pics i took, and pics on my phone from a digital camera, i just tried deleting 2 of the contacts and adding them back in and it seems to be working now.. but then again it may change back in a few hours.. i did notice then when they end up being small, if I go to the contact and hit edit photo it is all blurry.. but if its going to stay full screen it is clear

Actually one of them has already gone back to small.. thought it may be a syncing problem through gmail.. but if it was, why are some contacts unaffected and others are?

Hmm ya most likely a syncing issue. Adress book or gmail is probably syncing them and making them small then resyncing them to your phone.

IMO the pics should never be full-screen, it looks ridiculous.

I think it is a preference thing. For example my grandchild made this cute graphics for each member of the family. I think they are very cute showing up full screen when they call. Different Strokes! Bottom line is we should have a choice and options as to how it displays.

Yea I think I have determined it was a gmail issue. I simply removed the syncing through gmail, and re-synced the contacts through itunes and it seems to work fine., so i guess i will leave it to that from now on. They should make an option in the settings to have it displayed full screen or as an icon... (a long with the many other customization options im noticing the iphone severely lacks)
