How do I search for a caller from my recent call list?

I only have favourites | recent | contacts | keypad and voicemail

Do i have to wade through all the numbers to locate a call?

Make sure the Phone app is enabled in Spotlight Search and use that.

Keep in mind the recents only show the last 100 calls. You might find more online with your carrier account.

spotlight search doesnt seem to work with the phone .. Just pulls up my contacts .. So I cant search for a number not in my address book but its there in the recent calls .. I have to keep scrolling through till I find it ..

That doesn't work. It just takes you to the phone app. Searching a contact doesn't work either.
