Calendar Time Settings Incorrect

iPhone 8 running iOS v14.5.1

Recently I noticed when making a new calendar entry/appt, let’s say I set it to 1:30pm-2:30pm and click on Add, it’ll show as 5:30pm-6:30pm instead. This didn’t happen before and only started happening recently.

I don’t recall making any calendar settings changes on my iPhone. Can’t recall if it started before or after updating to the current iOS version.

Anybody else experience this? If so, how’d you fix it? Thanks.

Have you checked your General settings that your particular time zone is correct?

Yes, time zone is set to New York which is correct.

Have you checked your event’s time zone if it is correct?

And that “Time Zone Override” in the Settings app, under “Calendar” is disabled.
