Bypass passcode/thumbprint on lock screen

On the lock screen, touch the camera icon and swipe up the screen. The camera will open. Now close the camera and it will take you to the homepage.

What do you mean "close the camera"? If I open the camera from the lockscreen and then press the home button with a finger that is not registered with Touch ID, it just goes back to the lockscreen.

That lockscreen camera bypass glitch was patched a long time ago and should no longer work. It definitely doesn't work on my iPhone running iOS 9.3.
