I currently have the 5th generation iPod touch but am selling it and getting the 6th generation. I am selling my iPod before I buy a new one so how do I transfer all my stuff (apps, photos etc) to the new one so it looks the same as my old one. I knows it's to do with iCloud but not sure what I do

Sign into iCloud.
Hit backup.
Sign out and wipe iPod.
Sell iPod.
Buy new iPod.
Sign into iCloud.
Restore.
Wait a while.

Why don't you buy a new iPhone instead of iPod. Isn't iPhone better? Well I respect your decision, but just curious about it.

I got the new iPod cause it's a current device and I didn't want to change my phone. I like that the iPod is still a portable option for getting into iOS.
