brand new battery low capacity

i replaced my battery for iphone6 today and i wonder if that battery has capacity like a new battery. I have app Ibackupbot for iphones and I just have checked my phone one week before replacement and it was at 877 charging cycles and 62 capacity, since i bought it in 2014. Today i checked it after replacement and it shows 0 charging cycles but 78 capacity. Does it mean that battery is not new? Should it be 100 capacity if its new or at least higher than 78?

If that 78 is 78% capacity, and is accurate, then it's either not a very good battery, or it's been used. I've had my 6s Plus for nearly 30 months, and I'm a heavy user. It's at 73% capacity. A new battery should be over 95%. Be sure your phone is charged up when you check it.

I have just fitted an ifixit battery and my Battery Life app, says I have 100% capacity. The Battery Health Beta just says “Service”. I couldn’t have a genuine battery fitted by Apple because I have a cheap (£20) non-oem LCD on my phone.
