I have been a longtime user on my iPhone screen so I even decided to use one on my watch screen. I upgraded to a 7 and gave this to my son and one day he came home from school….

I think he would be scared to. He’s my rule follower. If you were talking about my youngest girl well, yes! He dropped it on concrete.

I like him being able to have contact with me through the watch. I’m not gonna replace the 3. I’m thinking a 4 might also be a waste? I’ve even considered the other side for a cheaper device. We are in the Apple ecosystem but he doesn’t need all the bells & whistles, he’s not even using the fitness tracker!

I would definitely skip the 4 and look at a 5 or even 6. As far as covers, look at Julk or Smiling covers on Amazon. The Julk cases are described as "Overall Protective Case TPU HD Ultra-Thin Cover for iWatch, Transparent". The Smiling covers are very similar, and they are both sold in 2 packs and are very affordable.

I think the SE would be an awesome idea!!!! My sister still has her 4, and it's starting to misbehave. She doesn't care about most of the features on it, so I have told her she ought to go with the SE when she decides to replace it!

I have a 7 I got last summer. After this I ain’t trying to give him a 7!
