Bluetooth audio cutting out during navigation

When I'm driving the spoken directions are always getting cut off. It is consistent across Apple Maps, Google Maps and Here Maps. Oddly, when I am streaming music the directions DO NOT cut off.

A friend of mine is having the same issue with his 6 plus.

Anyone else experience this???

Update: I drive a 2014 Honda Accord and had Zero issues with my iPhone 6

I've not experienced anything like that to this point, but I haven't used the Voice guided navigation feature of my iPhone 6S Plus yet, but I doubt I'll experience any problems with it.

Yes I'm experiencing this frustrating issue with my iPhone 6+.and bluetooth earpiece. There are many posts about this problem on androids. I'd sure like to resolve it.
