Blu-tooth keyboard

I recently replaced my iPad with a new iPad Air, and my old blu-tooth keyboard has a clumsy fit. The fit only matters when I am carrying it.

But being blu-tooth, I can place my iPad on a stand either landscape or portrait mode and use the keyboard.

Apple and Logitech have good-looking (expensive) keyboards that appear to need to touch the iPad. Can they be used in both landscape and portrait modes?

If not, where should I look for a keyboard?

Apple's Keyboards (as well as those made by Logitech and Brydge) are expensive, and if I were going to use one on a regular basis, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one. I've been looking on Amazon for some Keyboards as well. There seem to be a few good candidates. If I decide on one, it will be based on the reviews.

The $99 Magic Keyboard should do just fine. With that being said, I find it much easier to put the iPad on your lap (landscape view) and type on it using the onscreen keyboard. It’s surprising comfortable for “me”.
