blackra1n & tethering

I am currently running a 3G jailbroken at 3.0.1. I use Pdanet to tether to my pc. Has anyone tried to tether after jailbreak using blackra1n? I know there was something in carrier 5.5, so can you downgrade to carrier 5.0 after using blackra1n?

I'm JB at 3.0.1 as well. I have not tried blackra1n yet, but I did update my carrier to 5.5 when MMS went live and haven't had any problems with PDANet. Just make sure that if you update your version of iTunes, check the June Fabrics site for the newest version of the PDANet desktop client.
