iMore Question

The screen on my Iphone 5 has gone black and unresponsive. I've tried the hard reset, and talked with apple about other troubleshooting ideas. I have some recent pictures on the phone that were not backed up on iTunes, or icloud that I would really like to retrieve. The phone has a passcode, so when I connect to iTunes it asks me to enter the passcode on the phone. This is obviously not possible with the unresponsive screen. Are there any other possibilities for getting around the passcode, and/or retrieving my contacts/pictures? Thanks in advance.

Send it in for repairs or take it to an Apple Store.

I would make an appt. with your local Apple store Genius bar and let them take care of it.

I also say take it in to Apple. Anything you would be able to try would be impossible without a screen.
