Better quality ringtones?

The export feature in Garageband sounds awful. Is there any freeware apps that will convert files into ringtones while keeping quality good?

This is not free, but 15.00 is not too bad. I have not tried it, but am considering this as my ringtone app of choice.

I've seen iToner but I haven't heard any ringtones that were converted using it.
And I can't try it out because you need an iPhone hooked up to use it (I think).

Interesting site, there should be more sites that could help with ringtones for the iphone.
