I'm looking for an iOS notes app that doesn't add formatting to text by default. It would be awesome if it also supported importing notes from the default iOS and OS X notes app.

I use SimpleNote on iPhone and iPod touch. There are apps for mac n pc which support SimpleNote syncing. Tags and search are its powerful features.
But I'm looking forward to the improved Notes app of iOS 9.

It's funny you say that. I actually just found this app a few minutes ago. So far, it looks like it's going to be the one.
Definitely looking forward to more suggestions.
