Best way to track iPhone 6 plus

Reading through the forums I see people talking about exchanging iPhone 6 plus in stores. I'm just trying to get a hold of one for ATT 6 plus SG 64gb. Does anyone have tips on being able to track and buy a iPhone 6 plus? I spoke to an apple rep today and he told me people are still waiting before the store opens to get one. Would lining up before the store opens be the best way? Was thinking of ordering through AT&T until I stumbled upon the horror stories of the AT&T thread here.

Heck, if you're going to order one, you might as well order it via the Apple Store or reserve one via the Apple Store.

Well I would like to be able to receive one earlier than the estimated 3-4 week shipping if I can. Also I wanted to trade in my phone to reduce the cost of the new phone.

Best buy continues to have stock in. They get a truck on Tuesdays and Fridays. I was lucky enough to get there last Wednesday morning to get an ATT 16 gif model. I wanted 64 gig but will rock this until I can find one. Anyways they take trade ins as well and give you a fair amount for it.

I found a lot of 16 gbs around town but no 64. Since I'm not buying the phone at retail and putting on a contract, I don't have the option of purchasing a 16gb and waiting to track down a 64gb. I guess ill head to the apple store an hour before opening to see if I can get lucky.

Is purchasing online for in store pickup the reserve or is there an actual reserve system you sign up for?

Went to the store this morning and they had a 6 plus 64g silver. I really didn't want this color and when I was asking the rep some questions the last one sold within the seconds of our conversation. I just decided to order online after leaving the store because I don't want to push my luck anymore, so looks like ill be waiting till November. For those that are wondering about stock in store vs istocknow, the istocknow won't show whats at the store inventory in the morning. I checked istocknow while waiting in line as well as apples website and showed no iPhone 6 plus available when they did have iPhone 6 and 6 plus in stock.
