#1 I am in nursing school and just got my iPhone... if it goes off during an exam they will take the exam away and I automatically fail LOL... but I am not willing to leave the phone in the car (fear of it being stolen). Can you guys recommend the best way to quiet the phone? Just turn it off?

#2 While we are in our clinicals in the hospital they want phones off because the frequency screws up the monitors... what's the best way to turn that part off but still be able to use the apps I have that don't require internet access? Will airplane mode work for this?

Thanks!!!!!!!! :)

#1: switch the silence slider to off (on the top side of the phone) or just turn it off.

#2: Go to settings, and turn on Airplane Mode. This will block all signals but the apps will still be usable (you will not be able to receive and/or make calls btw)

Hope that answers your questions.

EDIT: ah, you beat me to it Bad Ash lol, btw, do you mean Airplane Mode - ON?

If it were me in that situation I would probably just turn the phone off! That little silent switch although pretty secure could move "somehow" and wouldn't want to risk it. Also, if you have your phone set to vibrate it will still make some noise.
