What benefits do intellilockscreenx and similar apps provide now with the new iOS5 interface?

More control. ISX allows you to include multiple pages in your NC. So you can have your notifications on the first page, slide to the next page with a live twitter feed, and slide to the next page with a live facebook feed. You can also include system toggles and other things in the "Top shelf," a section of the NC that is hidden, until you pull it all the way down. ISX also allows you to access the NC from the Lockscreen.
