If you want to benchmark your Mac or even Windows machine head over to Geekbench Download Geekbench - Primate Labs

Post up your score and lets do what technophiles do best and compare. A new model 15" MBP basic configuration at the Apple Store pulled a score of over 8,000

My early 2010 15" MBP i5 @ 2.4GHz, 8GB RAM on Snow Leopard pulled a 5,122

The bench is for the processor so although it takes into account the memory I don't think it's weighted much.

^^^ Was expecting a similar result...quite a bit different (some areas lower, some higher)...guess it shows the difference between the 2 core i7 on the 13" and the 4 core on your 15".

^^^^ That is interesting... I, too, would have thought the overall ratings would be closer...

Hey, Ricky... you started this thing... are you gonna post your score?

Wow cool scores :D I had my score right in the first post I just didn't attach it all fancy like, like you guys lol but I will do it again and attach it to the first post to have consistency. I'm surprised at the difference between the 13" and the 15" too.

After doing some research, and understanding how that software scores...it's not really as surprising as i thought it would be, as the 15" i7 running the quad core vs. the 13" running the dual core. 2 more outlet cores, up to twice as much efficiency, so it actually makes perfect sense in the scores...

Here's mine for my old clonker. I kinda expected worse, haha, seeing as my computer is from 2008 and is just a plain ol' macbook.

Those are actually pretty decent stats for a machine of that vintage...

Here's the MacBook Air... clearly slower than anything else posted here so far...
