Belkin 2.1A car Charger

Hi guys, new to this forum, new to smartphones and just bought iPhone 5.
Just want to know, does the Belkin 2.1A Car Charger with Lightning connector plug into the cigarette lighter plug?
Any comments on this device? Your thoughts very welcome.

The car charger from Belkin will plug into the cigarette lighter in your car. I believe that is the only officially licensed product. I'd steer clear of generic product for now - there's been talk that Apple placed a special chip in their lightning cable that enable them to work.
