BBM for iOS - is it down Friday 2 Oct '15

Is anyone able to access BBM? I keep getting the check mark, but no D. So it's leaving the phone but it's not reaching the recipients.

The App had updated on my iPhone yesterday morning, ( iPhone 6, iOS 9.0.1) but when I went to sign in again, it took several attempts, - "Server Error Try again later" or the likes was the message. I gave it an hour and got in successfully . So somethings going on (?)

Yup I got the updates. But right now I can't get through to anyone.
We have other alternatives for most of my contacts, except for one.
