Only reason a BB has a removable battery is so you can remove it when the thing goes all Walt Disney and freezes.

Yeah, that was a big problem, but my 9930 is going on 12 days without a reboot and working just fine. People like the removable battery so they have the CHOICE of getting an extended battery for 2-4 day runtime. Many people don't care at all about removing the battery, so if it's not an issue, then it's not an advantage one way or the other.

Only reason I needed a removable battery was so I could take it apart and I'd have two things to throw at the wall when my BB went all stupid.

Yeah each OS upgrade makes jailbreaking harder. It'll probably take them a couple months just to jailbreak iOS6 for the previous devices that are getting an upgrade, let alone the iP5 which will most likely have new and differernt security measures.

i think the iphone 3gs and 4 are fine

its just the iphone 4S and 5 u have to worry about

I really don't think you will see a untethered JB for awhile on iPhone 5. It gets harder and harder each year for the dev team to hack. I wouldn't worry about this just yet.

my opinion is this as well as another thing..

it seems as if the passion to find exploits has lowered. we've seen some really good hackers leave the scene and i am not so sure if there really has been much to fill the voids
