Before I continue I just want to share my background of fps I've played. I was part of the Battlefield 3 beta and I've played Battlefield Bad Company 2 & Battlefield 3. Other fps I've played are call of duty 1, UO, 2, 4 & W@W. All of those games I've played on PC only. Also I've played cops & robbers on an Atari 2600
Also note that this is a beta

Next my PC specs:
AMD Phenom X4 9550 @ 2.2ghz
4 GB DDR2 Ram
640 GB 7200 rpm hard drive
PNY nvidia GTS 450 1 GB GDDR5 (334.67 beta drivers)
Windows 7 home premium sp1 64-bit
EA's recommend PC specs:
AMD six-core or intel quad-core
8 GB ram
AMD HD 7870 or nvidia gtx 660
3 GB of video ram
Windows 8 64-bit

First I want to say that this game is basically cops & robbers but on a huge 3D map. There is only one map so far (the one from E3). The "new" game mode heist is like rush but instead of blowing up/defending m-con stations you have to either get the loot from the armoured van that crashed and get it to the extraction point if you are the criminal or defend the loot and stop it from getting to the extraction point if you are the police. Also to unlock weapons you need cash that you have collected in game from heists.
I did manage to play two rounds of heist with a total of 32 players, each round was 10 minutes long and the criminals have about 100 tickets.
On my PC I'm playing at 1366x768 on high with MSAA off and get around 25-30 frames per second unless there is a lot of stuff going on then I drop to 10-15. I defiantly need more ram though, 4 GB is not going to cut it this time.
So far the gameplay is good, the controls I have to get use to again. The only thing I want EA to add is a toggle setting for aim down the sight cause it's annoying to hold down LMB. Since I'm more of a close combat type of player and my vehicles skills are not strong, my play style does not fit this game at all. You need to play as a team to win and use the vehicles to your advantage.
Overall it's a good start but knowing EA they will mess it up some how.

Once I play a bit more maybe... My skills are so rusty right now I won't be able to do a proper review yet. I was just posting my initial thoughts so far. It also doesn't help that my computer is really showing its age with this game. Most of my parts are 6-7 years old with my video card and power supply at 3-4 years old.

I haven't played battlefield 4 so I have no idea how bad the bugs are. I've only played battlefield 3 + the beta and to be honest I found the beta better than the final release of battlefield 3.

Yay! I finally got to take the loot to the extraction point and hold of the police
I had less than 10 health when the round finally ended, longest 1 minute wait of my gaming life.

Oh boy, Microsoft and Sony had better find a way to do simple screenshots on their console by now...We shouldn't be relying on our Smartphone cameras still...
