Battery percentage indicator in 3.0?

Just on the 3GS.

Another forum user has the batt percentage option...and he's on the 3G iPhone...yet he can't find it in the settings. He said it just "showed up" after the update.

On my jailbroken 3g 2.2 (or is it 2.1) you can install some apps that show the battery as a percentage.

I saw mentioned elsewhere: "Under the ?Usage? section of ?General? setting, there?s a slider switch for ?Battery Percentage.?

Can anyone see this? I can't
