I agree, as with any device, takes a few months, of cycling thru...to get a real status on battery life. By then normal usage, will happen. We know when we get a new device, we tend to use it more to learn the device. But all are different, when it comes to usage, apps, emails so on...
I usually wait a month or two, get "judge" on battery life.

I've been doing pretty well. I've had mine a little less than a month now. I know they say the old battery train/conditioning doesn't apply anymore but I still do it. Also it depends how your settings are: notifications, tracking, background, etc. Just try a different setup for a few days and see how it goes.
I heavily use my phone service days movies games chat apps and still make it through the day pretty well with a few min of charging.

I never really use Twitter now, but when I did I used tweetbot and it still didn't eat that much of my battery.

I would suggest. Changing the refresh rate to a higher time maybe or disable the background running

The 3 big battery users are Screen brightness, push notifications, and location services. The rest are videos, games, photo editing, and etc. My 6s Plus got 11 to 12 hours usage the first month. Then slowly started going downhill. I'm lucky if I get 7 hours usage now. Usually less. 5 to 6. Depending on what I'm doing. I've had it 1½ years now.

As led said. Locations services is a big key. Go in there also and change a few things around plus. Disable the auto brightness, that can chew up some small percentage of battery.

Awesome battery life. The other day it clocked 49 hours for me. 12 hours use and 37 hours stand by. I am an ex S7 Edge user, and I can tell u that don't get fooled by the 3600 mAh number of S7 Edge's battery ha ha. Despite a 2900 mAh battery, it still beat S7 Edge.

This is nothing but gaming and a little tv use. Bluetooth on with Auto brightness and mid to high graphics in game. Still have 19% left.
