So I have been working on an island and the cell signal is horrible. Alot of dead zones and single bar of signal areas. Legit moving an inch can go from one bar to no service at all. Could this be killing my battery quicker since it is searching signal? Only good spot is in the house where I at least have WiFi to connect to.
Reason I ask is because I had my battery changed out just a couple of months ago. Now it seems to be back to its old habits of draining quickly.
Is there anything I can shut off so it's not constantly searching signal?
Does background app refresh kill it quicker also?
