Back on a 6s plus from a 7 plus

After all the talk here I looked up my model number and on best buy it's listed as the Verizon version:

Apple iPhone 7 Plus 128GB Black MN482LL/A - Best Buy

But kmart has is listed as the unlocked version:

Kmart.com

But yes (thankful as I learned here) they sold me the Verizon version even tho I started an att contract to get the $200 gift card and corp discount. I love best buy workers when they go above and beyond

Best Buy's sells the unlocked iPhone 7 and 7 Plus unlike if you went into a carrier store and purchased one, The only carrier that sells the 7 and 7 Plus unlocked out of the box is Verizon.

Me too! I just can't justify the extra money to upgrade to 7, I'd rather hang on and wait for the release this fall

Someone traded me their unlocked 128 GB mint condition 6s plus for my ATT locked 128 GB 7 plus and they gave me $160 on top. What do you think of the deal ?

I would have been all over the deal they got.

Question though, why not just buy an unlocked phone directly from Apple? Then you can just pop in a sim and use any carrier you like?
