I gotta say, I reinstalled the Facebook app yesterday afternoon at around 16:00 and I'm impressed by how it behaves when you swipe it away from multitasking when you're done using it. In the last 24 hrs, it's been on-screen for 43 mins and only 20 mins in the background!

All it does is help apps run more efficiently in the background. Not prevent them from doing so. Apps need to run in the background. If Apple created something to prevent that, the developers would raise Cain.
