Audio books in ipod application

I loaded a book onto the I Phone (I am an experienced IPOD user) and I cannot figure out how to delete the book. Can anyone help me?

you uncheck it on the desktop and sync the phone again

I don't find it on the desktop or in ITunes..just on the IPhone
