AT&T MMS working on only 1 of 2 family plan iPhones?

I uploaded the ATT_US.ipcc file to both mine and my wife's iPhone 3G, and on both updated the network settings (MMS:WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM/CINGULAR1 and VVM:acds.voicemail).

According to AT&T, the MMS opt-out feature is not enabled on either line. And indeed when I look online, I do NOT see the MMS-opt-out on either line.

Yet..on my iPhone MMS works, on my wife's iPhone it does not. I don't even see the MMS settings on her phone (I do see the tethering settings). Does that make any sense to anyone?
