assigned rings don't work

My phone rings only the ring I chose for all callers (piano riff). Dedicated rings for special callers don't work. Any ideas what to do?

Go to sounds and check quite a few of them meaning different ringtones to see if they ring, If they do or even don't reboot your phone holding the power and home button until you see the Apple logo and that should clear things up.
