( gps - gmaps, etc. ) -- are there any devices such as laptop that can use gps, gmap, and other navigation sites/etc. without a mobile type os like having an android, ios, etc.

i really dont want a mobile since there's nothing useful/helpful i would use it for besides only

navigation, gps

Sounds to me like you’re best served with a stand alone navigation device.

In the past there were GPS dongles that you could plug in to your laptop.
You can search on Amazon for such dongles.
It simply adds GPS functionality to your computer or laptop.

I don’t know if they’re good or bad.
The last time I looked such dongles up was many years ago, while writing that reply I looked on amazon and saw they were still for sale.
It’s best to read reviews about the product before purchasing.
I haven’t used any, so I can’t say from personal experience how they are.
