It depend on where you bought your T-Mobile iPhone 6 from, if you bought it from the Apple Store they are unlocked but if you bought it from T-Mobile then they are locked and you would have to get it unlocked. Hope this helps.

If you buy any iPhone directly from the Apple Store for full price ($650-$950, depending on the model) then it is unlocked as far as I know.
