Has Microsoft stopped charging game devs and taking a cut off every game sales.

So Microsoft does it, but Apple should be barred from it, not hypocritical at all.

Microsoft is blaming Apple’s App Store fees for making Xbox Cloud Gaming on iPhones “impossible.” While Apple’s 30% commission is steep, Microsoft is hardly in a position to complain about unfair practices. Microsoft itself enforces similar policies on Xbox, charging developers hefty fees and taking significant cuts from game sales and in-app purchases. Instead of solely focusing on Apple’s model, Microsoft should look at its own marketplace practices before pointing fingers. Both giants are guilty of stifling competition through excessive fees and restrictive ecosystems.
