Apple's 25% Indian iPhone manufacturing target could make your next one much easier to buy

Just an FYI, as of start of 2022 iPhones are made in India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, China. The Philippines have been slated for about 2 years to start subassemblies. However, not counting subassemblies, final assembly is by a very large margin done by China.

Current belief is not just India for final assembly but also Vietnam. I’d listen for Vietnam to start getting serious mentions regarding final assembly.
