See the tear downs. The Apple Silicon based MacBooks require less internals but gets a lot of computational power using much lower power. With weight being a potential negative factor, Apple can probably put a bit more battery mah in it. And the Mac runs 100% not plugged in. Most windows laptops get sad when not plugged in.
Apple Silicon based on ARM SOC has opened up great design potential. Windows has great potential for cooling fan technology.
