I'm not sure how useful it will be. Besides the battery dying all the other damage i see the thing taking would be user-inflicted which, of course, wouldnt be covered. Besides, i just have my iPhone covered on my Personal Articles policy along with a bunch of other stuff for like $50/year through my insurance company.
